Covers: Client Doc Sorter, Vendor Doc Sorter, Insurance Doc Sorter

<aside> 💡

In plain language: these extensions save your Gmail attachments into folders on your own computer. They don't read, store, or transmit the contents of your emails or attachments anywhere. The only thing that ever leaves your device is an anonymous usage signal — a random install ID and a save-count number — with nothing identifying you attached to it.

If you upgrade to the paid version, payment is handled entirely by ExtensionPay, a third-party payment processor — we never see or store your card details.

What these extensions do

Each extension adds a small panel inside Gmail. You open an email, the extension finds its attachments, and you choose where to save them — organized into folders by client or project, and by category or document type. Files are saved using Chrome's own download system, directly from Gmail to your computer's Downloads folder.

The extension runs entirely in your browser. There is no OpsFolio server that your emails, attachments, or files pass through.

What data is collected

Data Collected? Details
Email content or attachment files No Attachments go straight from Gmail's servers to your Downloads folder. We never receive a copy.
Filenames, subject lines, sender addresses No Used only in your browser to build the save path and display the panel; never transmitted.
Name, email address, or other identity info No The extension itself never asks for or stores this.
Anonymous install ID + save-count milestone Yes A random ID generated on install (not tied to your Google account or identity) and a number marking usage milestones (e.g. "10th file saved"), so we can see how many installs are actually being used. See below.
Client / project / document-type names you type in No Stored only in your browser's local extension storage, to populate your own dropdowns. Never sent anywhere.
Notion integration token (Vendor & Insurance Doc Sorter only, optional feature) No If you choose to sync your client list from Notion, your own integration token is stored locally in your browser and used to call Notion's API directly from your device. It is never sent to us.
Payment information No Handled entirely by ExtensionPay / Stripe on their own hosted checkout page. We never receive or store card numbers or billing details.

About the anonymous usage signal

When you save files, the extension sends a small, anonymous ping to a private Google Apps Script endpoint we control. It contains exactly three things: the extension's name, a random ID generated on your device at install time (not linked to your Google account, email, or any other identity), and a number representing a usage milestone. This tells us, in aggregate, whether people are actually using the extensions past the free tier — nothing more. It contains no email content, no filenames, no attachment data, and no personal information.

Third parties

ExtensionPay (payments) — Upgrading to lifetime access opens a checkout page hosted by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), which processes the payment via Stripe. Your payment details are handled under ExtensionPay's own terms and data practices — we never see or store them.

Notion (optional, Vendor & Insurance Doc Sorter) — If you turn on Notion sync, requests go directly from your browser to Notion's API using your own integration token. This is governed by Notion's own privacy policy (notion.so/privacy), not ours — we're never a party to that connection.
